The Kamloops Flying Club is made up of professional and recreational pilots, airplane owners and aviation enthusiats. The club house is located at Aviation Way on the south side of the Kamloops Airport. Many activities are organized including seminars on aviation safety, group fly-ins to other airports and pancake breakfasts. As part of the Young Eagles Program, the Kamloops Flying Club committed to providing free airplane rides to 100 young people between the ages of 8 and 17 in 2003 which commemorated the 100th anniversary of the Wright brothers first powered flight.
